Silver ring with stone setting

Proudly slipping a beautiful, self-made ring with a gemstone onto your finger—that’s the moment we work towards in the Silver Ring with Stone Setting workshop. Over the course of six weeks, every Wednesday afternoon from 14:00 to 17:00, we teach you the art of creating a unique silver ring with a cabochon or round faceted stone.

In 6 lessons, you will discover how to design a stunning ring from wire and sheet metal. You will be introduced to the basic techniques of the craft, including sawing, filing, sanding, soldering, and using specialized pliers to carefully shape the silver without causing damage. In addition, you will learn how to professionally set a gemstone using a bezel setting and finish it to a high polish. The goal is to have created at least 1 ring by the end of the workshop.

Our lessons are partly taught in a group setting, but there is also plenty of room for individual guidance. We support you in developing your practical skills and provide you with the necessary knowledge about materials and their applications. This workshop is perfect for both handy beginners and more advanced participants with little or no experience in stone setting techniques.
